Kean graduated with a MFA in Drama at Cornell University before breaking into television with guest starring roles in shows such as "Miami Vice", "21 Jump St" and "Designing Women". He landed starring roles in television movies "Summer Dreams: The Beach Boys" and "Get to the Heart: The Barbara Mandrell Story." His feature film roles include "Air America" and "Say It Isn't So."
